Struggling to get support out of Hisense

My TV starting acting up mid-Dec and I logged a request for support from Hisense.

I received a reference number and repair order number, however it seems I cannot get Hisense or the 3rd party technicians to commit to a time/date to come and look at the TV. This is important so that I can ensure that I am available on that day.

I've called multiple times and have been told that an appointment will be made with me well in advance, yet nothing happens and I call a few days later to be told the same thing. I do understand that this time of the year can be quite challenging in terms of staff coming back to work after vacation.

However, I had not heard anything back so today I phoned back again and was told the technician was supposed to be with me yesterday. No appointment was made with me, nor was I informed in any way, nor did any technician arrive.

I was once again told that this matter would be followed up on/escalated, but I have heard that a few times so far.

The lack of response you see here @ HP is exactly what I'm experiencing through their support channels as well.

After finally forcibly getting a technician out the TV was declared as unfixable (took 5min for them to decide). I then had to chase support to follow up on the technicians report. After that it was a few calls over a few days to get a credit note generated. Following this it was yet more calls and playing middle man between their main support channel and their exchange/collections guys to get them to affect a collection.

They finally collected a week ago and all attempts to contact them regarding my actual credit with Takealot seems to fall on deaf ears. Not one response to 4 different emails I have collected. The collection/exchange hotline nobody ever answers. The main support team keep telling me they'll escalate/contact the relevant person directly. Nothing has materialised since.
