Rusted through upper dishwasher rack in less than 2 years, not covered under waranty!
We bought a Hisense dishwasher 2 years ago from Makro.
The top rack has completely rusted through and fallen apart, it has also stained all our white plates. We tried to get a new rack but according to Marko / Hisense this is not covered under the 2-year warranty and just found out it will cost over R2000 to replace it from another supplier.
This has to be a factory fault, if Hisense or Makro is not interested in helping I will make it my personal mission to make sure consumers know what they are getting when they buy a HiSense dishwasher and never ever shop at Makro again.

31 Oct 2024, 11:18That's not the point. This is a defect issue; how can you support the fact that an R5k plus machine only lasts 6 months? I see lots of reviews and posts regarding this product. You know it's an issue, so you would rather not replace it at your cost in the face of long-term customer value and brand damage. Wow good luck with that, you maybe interested in my new website that will be coming online, I will share with you shortly. www.hisensedishwashersuck. It won't be defamation but facts and pictures.
