Quality of TV to last only during Warranty Period!
I purchased a Hisense in Dec 2014. In June 2018, the TV started giving me problems, the TV went on, but the screen was black. Took the TV in for repairs, which is 1h30 away from where I stay. They replaced the mainboard. A year later, again, i have the same problem. The TV comes on, but the screen is black. I called the service department, just to be told that my TV is now out of warranty and i would need to pay R180 to access the issue. This is ridiculous. Obviously there is a problem if the TV is doing the exact same thing as it did previously. Now I am having to pay. Is the quality of TV made to only last for the time period of the warranty? Because it broke just before the warranty ended previously and now a year later it brakes again with the same issue. Now I have to drive another 1h30 to pay R180 for my TV to be assessed and then would need to pay for the repairs. Absolutely unacceptable!!
