Poor Product & support

<p>I purchased a HiSense refrigerator 19 September 2016 to replace a problematic fridge I have. We took delivery of the fridge 2 days later.</p> <p>Since early November, we started having problems with the refrigerator side( of the side by side fridge) freezing all products inside. At first i thought it was purely due to a settings error, given the fridge has several modes. This happened over 2 days, and it seemed ot have settled ok. A week later it happened again, and a week after that too.</p> <p>I called the service number for HiSense on 1 December 2016, and instead of taking the query and processing the service request then, was told to submit to the website (which has a turn around time of 2 days) instead. I subsequently did so, and got a response back on Monday 5th, with a promise ot send someone through the followign day. The person arrived, and was clearly not prepared for the job or had not been briefed as to the problem, as after assessment, advised he would be back. We did not get a clear explanation, or a job card of any sort that would reflect repairs to be undertaken or timeline.</p> <p>That was the 6th of December. And we have not heard from them since. Have made attemepts to get information, but no responses since. And we have not had use of the refrigerator for over 20 days, and we have lost a couple thousand rand in dairy & vegetables, and have to resort to purchasing products on a daily basis.</p> <p>At present i would rather prefer to return the product and get a totally different brand, as i have never experienced issues with any other product within a short space of time from purchase. But i would appreciate some sort of response that would assist me. We are coming to the festive season where purchasing on a daily basis will cause untold costs in time and effort, let alone the cost.</p> <p>This is extremely poor, and any other product manufacturer and thier support would have resolved this by now.</p>
