Over a month and no help

I purchased a Hisense smart phone as recommended by a friend. I was really impressed with the phone and had no issues.

About a month ago, the battery stopped charging and would not work. I called the support line 3 times over a 3 week period and kept getting promised that a quote will be sent to me. I also sent numerous emails. After nearly a month I get a call about a 40 inch TV and told the support rep had linked my details to the incorrect inquiry and was then told to contact the spares department via email. I did this and finally got an email back to say there was no stock and new batteries were only coming in the end of the month. Why was I not told this sooner and being kept to wait? Why do you not have stock of spares if you are marketing/selling the phone? Why is your customer service so unhelpful and atrocious?

Now what do I do while I wait for your company to get their act together and actually get me a new battery (which is making you money by the way)?

Horrible customer service and terrible customer experience.
