No Customer service

We have a fridge that is five years old and really in good condition except that the alarm goes off every time it is opened. It normally is supposed to only go off if left open for a while. We called Hisense but they were not prepared to deal with us as it is out of warranty. We got the names of their recommended technicians and he came out and obviously charged a call out fee. He stated that we needed a new door as the hinges were plastic and had dropped. We asked how come it would occur and he said that it was too heavy. We cannot understand this as the door has racks in it for storage, and we don't overload it at all. The technician then said that he tried to get a new door, but not available anymore. Why would we want a new door anyway as the fridge would present with the same problems. Technician said that Hisense were aware of this problem as the newer model, had changed the display to another part of the fridge as not to cause this problem that we have. He said he can drill a whole and pull out the wiring and put in thicker wiring to try and relieve this problem. We said let's leave it and we would talk to Hisense and paid him for coming.

Hisense don't want to assist, and obviously they are putting pressure on the technician because he told us about the new display and the hinges.

They refuse to come out themselves and with the exception of Abigail, the other people we have dealt with have been unhelpful and sometimes rude.
