My TV is being held hostage
Where is my Vidaa tv?? How much more do I need to moan & beg? When is my Vidaa being repaired properly & returned to me in 100% working order? This is getting ridiculous now! What's the holdup? Please arrange for technicians to return & test my TV not delivery staff. It's been a mess of mixups with yr 3rd party appointed service providers.

25 Apr 2025, 17:28Hello HIsense. The 2 technicians you sent with my Vidaa today 25/4/25 16h00 were excellent. And very knowledgeable. They tested the TV fm start to finish & evert available way except they did not have the HDMI tester with them as there's a big sticker on my Vidaa stating "HDMI repaired". I don't think the HDMI was tested as all 3 HDMIs are grayed out on the TV & the channel scan & several other options are also grayed out. Yr technicians said they or whichever technician is next allocated the VIDAA to test it - test the HDMI properly really needs to use the HDMI tester. Almost 1 month & I'm still sitting without my Vidaa. Every time the TV goes back to the office it's diagnosed with a new illness. At what point does Hisense simply say the Vida has a serious issue which Hisens can not diagnose or repair & give me a brand new 65" smart TV?? At which point?? Please advise? Thank you. In the meantime I'm using my Hisense HX32M216OH which is almost a decade old & has never given me even 1 day's problem. Made in South Africa btw. The Hisense I have is so amazing that is why I bought a Hisense tv again in Dec 2022. But look now how disappointing the Vidaa has turned out to be. I need this issue resolved please. ASAP. This back & forth with a faulty Vidaa cannot continue.

25 Apr 2025, 17:48Oh & Hisense I forgot to mention- when my Vidaa arrived to me in December 2022 in its sealed box the remote did not arrive with a special AV adapter. Yr amazing technicians fm today told me that Vidaas usually come fm the supplier with that adapter. Plse can you send one to me if yr technicians are bringing the Vidaa back - or if you are sending me a brand new boxed TV plse make sure the booklet, remote & all adapters are inside the box. I also forgot to mention earlier even the AV option on my existing Vidaa which Hisense is working on - is also grayed out. I am convinced there's something fundamentally faulty with the Vidaa make of TVs. In Feb 2023 the Vidaa auto updated her software & a day later she stopped working - that was the 1st time she went to Hisense for a repair which was completed successfully. Now beginnin April 2025 she software updated herself again- & again she stopped working. It isn't a coincidence surely? Anyway you guys are the experts so I hope Hisense management does the right thing & keeps me as a Hisense Customer. Thanks

29 Apr 2025, 11:20The post is not a compliment for Hisense SA Vidaa. Except that the last 2 technicians were brilliant in finding all the errors on the "repaired" Vidaa back at my home for 4th time & back it went to the Service Centee. A month later I still have no Vidaa. It has still not been repaired properly. Yr service dept keeps saying the Vidaa has been repaired & it has not!!

30 Apr 2025, 11:08Thank you so much.
I've been in tears honestly. We are speaking of an expensive TV.
Every time the Vidaa is worked on at yr service centre there's a different issue reported as repaired or there's an entirely new issue found. None of the purported issues even seem related

01 May 2025, 14:101 May 2025 11h00 - thank you to Techie Donny & to Hisense. My Vidaa is home. The HDMI issue is - it looks like - inside the DSTV hdmi connection on the actual xplora - Donny thoroughly tested everything & arrived on sight with all the required testing tools. Thank you again.
Now there's only 1 Q remaining- which is - where is my AV connector which was meant to be in the box with the Vidaa & its remote when I bought the TV via Takealot in Dec 2022?? If I had that I can simply watch my dstv via the AV on the Vidaa & I'll have no need to buy a new xplora to watch dstv via HDMI. Right? It's an orange colored attachment apparently which I've never had. Please advise?

06 May 2025, 08:46I wasn't even aware about the AV connector until team 2 fm Hisense told me it was a definite standard inbox Vidaa item..
But okay. Thank you Hisense. Purchasing an AV connector is the route I shall take.
