Inferior dishwashers of Hisense

I purchased a dishwasher for my mom in May 2022. I chose Hisense because it came with a 5 year warranty. after a year and half of use, the dishwasher baskets began to rust terribly! When we contacted Makro, they advised us the baskets are not covered by the warranty and that we would have to pay R2000 to replace the baskets. It is simply unacceptable that Hisense makes products which is immersed in water which are not rust proof. The 5 year warranty means nothing as the quality of your items is very poor. In addition the section where the tablet needs to be fitted does not open properly when in wash mode resulting in the whole tablet remaining in this section. I will not purchase another Hisense product again! We have used a Defy dishwasher which was similar in price point to Hisense and have never had any issues with the baskets rusting.
