HISENSE...makes no sense.

I bought a Hisense 43 inch Television through Takealot 3 months ago. One evening I tried to switch on the TV, and the screen was faulty, displaying different colored lines. Tried to log a return with Takealot, who I purchased the TV through. According to the Takealot return policy I have to contact Hisense directly. I logged a ticket on the Hisense website which I followed up with a call to their call center. I received a ticket reference number and was advised that a technician will be in contact with me in 2 to 3 business days. After a week of waiting on a call, I phoned Hisense and sent an email to the lady who assisted me complaining about the lack of communication. A technician collected my brand new TV a week after I logged the issue just to be advised that they will take up to 3 weeks to repair my TV, and if they cannot repair it they will deliver the broken TV to me, and then log a collection and replacement unit. After owning a Hisense TV for 3 months, I will now be without a TV for a month. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND ANNOYING. You would think a Hisense TV would last longer than 3 short months. If this TV gets repaired, I will have a "second hand" TV that I paid a new TV price for.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY A HISENSE PRODUCT!!

The faulty television was delivered back to my home on the 27th of March 2025. A driver collected the TV on Monday, 31 March 2025. I had to follow up with Hisense again as no one bothered to inform me what is going on and only got a short response from your credits team giving me an authorization number, not explaining anything to me.
"Good day Pleases find the authorization number for Takealot ***"
