Hisense U60 Lite not working and not charging

Hello Peter, I bought a Hisense U60 Lite from Pep Stores in Rosebank Mall priced at R899.00 in December 2023. After one month of purchasing the phone, it was not working and when one charges the phone it does not come on. How can a brand new phone not work after one month? This is impossible and it only has a 7 day guarantee. What service is this that one has only a 7 day guarantee on a phone. Hisense needs to get their act together regarding the warranty of their products especially their phones. As a paying customer I would prefer either my money returned back to me or a new phone as this is unacceptable when a customer pays R899.00 for a phone that does not work after one month.
