HISENSE TV WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!
I always owned either a Samsung or LG TV and thought I would try a Hisense TV for a change. Big mistake!
I purchased a new Hisense UHD 55" TV at the beginning of May 2019. A month later our TV when switched on transmitted a pink screen intermittently which has continued. Subsequently, we noticed that the USB adapter was broken too.
Our first fault was reported first week of June 2019. Hisense call out technical staff arrived nearly 5 months later in November 2019. Their Technician replaced the control unit for the TV and commented that if it fails then they will need to replace the TV set.
Not even a month later the TV started its problems again. Hisense technical staff arrived nearly 3 months later in March 2020 before lock down. I asked them to replace the TV as it was evident that the TV was a dud. The Technician filled out a second Service Repair Job Card and said he would discuss with management. We did not receive any feedback from Hisense again until only in August 2020 after numerous calls and complaints. I provided a photo of every occasion where the TV went on the brink which clearly showed dates and times. They wanted to take the TV in for repairs which would have taken 3 weeks or so. I asked them to please bring a replacement TV or loan TV whilst they do this as its still lock down and we needed a TV to keep ourselves entertained. Their attitude was they don't give loan TV's and don't replace TV's??
More than a year and a half later since purchasing the TV, we are still left with a dud TV and zero help and involvement from Hisense.
If I can assist anyone in any way when trying to decide on your next TV to buy, DON'T think of purchasing a Hisense TV because its 10% cheaper, DON'T do it, the product proved to be bad value not to mention the terrible after sales service and commitment from the Hisense company!! Goed koop is duur koop!! Stay with your Samsung or LG brands, DON'T change, you could be sorry. I've learned first-hand and never again will I have anything to do with Hisense products...e&oe
A Sad State of affairs indeed!!!!!
