Hisense Toploader washing machine poor quality product

I purchased a 13kg Hisense Toploader washing Machine from Game. Hisense say the give you a 4 year warranty. It is not even 2 years from the date of purchase and the lid does not stay up. One has to hold it. I logged a call with game, when the technician arrived he say the lid is not covered in the warranty. My question is why does hisense make a product with plastic parts a hinge and expect it to last. No Hisense want to quote me for the inferior quality part. I think this is unfair and a ripoff to the customer
