Hisense packaging dented products and refuse to exchange it

I bought a washing machine on the 16 June 2022 to move in with to Pretoria after I got an appointment. I bought it at House and Home Nelspruit. The plan was to relocate with it and I did not open the original package. my department appointed a furniture removal company and storage for 3 weeks while I was staying in a hotel on intern accommodation. It was was delivered on the 1 Sep 2022 and the boxes were opened in front of the removal company team to check everything was in order. The machine has a dent on the right side but the box was not damaged. I immediately called the shop to report and they requested pictures of the package and the dent. It was communicated with Hi sense to send their Technitian to check the machine but no one was sent to my new address. I hv called the shop and the response was that Hi sense can’t exchange the machine because it was opened two months later unless if I should have reported within 7 days. When I buy the machine, I declared to the salesperson that it’s for my new apartment and I will use it later when I leave the interim Accommodation.
