Hisense or Takealot

I bought a Hisense Bar fridge on takealot on the the 12th of august 2020,on the 28th of august I noticed that the light inside the fridge does not switch on as per normal, sent them email stating the problem and requested an exchange. Got a reply telling me that they dont do refunds or exchange i must contact Hisense I did as I was told. A consultant from Hisense told me to contact take alot as they dont fix. So now im lost as to what will be the verdict of this whole thing. Did i waste my money on Takealot.
