Hisense H13DESS Rusting Dishwasher Rack
I am writing to express my frustration regarding the rusting and flaking dishwasher racks in my Hisense H13DESS dishwasher. The rust poses a significant health hazard, and I was surprised to be told that Hisense dishwashers will rust and that I am expected to purchase a new rack because rusting isn't covered under the two-year warranty. This is highly concerning, as it seems I am being asked to keep buying replacement parts for what is clearly an inferior and faulty product. All I see from Hisense is that rust is not covered under warranty, which is unacceptable.
This is clearly a factory fault—every single joint on the rack is rusting, which indicates a quality issue. Is it normal for all dishwashers to rust after such a short time? We have a Bosch Dishwasher in our family holiday home in Umhlanga and not a hint of rust in machine much older than the Hisense.
I’ve also come across multiple customer report on the internet, who experienced the same problem, further suggesting this is a broader manufacturing issue.
Hisense seems unwilling to investigate or address this matter, despite multiple reports from customers. I had trusted Hisense as a high-end brand and own several other products from them without any issues, which is why I’m so disappointed and dissatisfied now. How can this be resolved?
