Hisense Gas Stove Rust

we bought a Hisense gas stove, FHS905ges, from House and Home in August 2022. We were told by the salesperson that we should rather buy the stainless top than the blacktop as they tend to chip so we bought the stainless one. It is now 7 months down the line and the top is rusting. I sent a mail to Hisense, and they just shrugged their shoulders and said that the top is not covered for rust. What a load of #%^^&. ....if an appliance rusts with within 6 months just goes to show the poor quality of their products. I need Hisense to replace the top for me. We paid R12 000 for this appliance and if this is their quality of products, I will not recommend anyone to buy this make of brand hence the reason they probably give a 4-year warranty as they have no faith in their own products.
