Hisense dishwasher rack rust

We bought a hisense dishwasher about a year ago and the racks is completely covered in rust. We started treated the rack for rust, but rust spreads like cancer. The worst part is, buying new racks is ridiculous. Almost R4000 for both racks, and the it is almost always out of stock.
