Hisense and Pick n Pay Hyper Faerie Glen... really?

So we bought a Hisense 40'' TV from PnP Hyper Faerie Glen. Had the TV for 3 weeks and it stopped working (wouldn't switch on). Took it back where we were told they can't exchange it and have to send it to Hisense for repairs. We booked it in for repairs on the 11th of December, and after WEEKS and tons of phone calls to PnP, we were informed that they LOST the TV and are looking into it. We only got the TV back on the 27th of January (nearly 7 weeks later). The TV, after recieving it back, was super slow, taking a very long time to boot up, and both the stands were broken on the same spot, seeming as though it was dropped on the stands.

So, we take it back to PnP Faerie Glen on 30 January, understandably upset. We asked for a new TV, knowing if we have to book it in again we might have to wait another 7 weeks (keep in mind we've only had the TV in our possession for 3 weeks since we bought it)... PnP follows up with Hisense to get sign-off on a new TV. Hisense doesn't come back to them. Eventually, with me yelling in PnPs ears in their offices, they phone Hisense while I am there. Hisense is full of stories, promises, random comments - Still I get NO service whatsoever.

It is now 6 Feb, again I am told "Maybe tomorrow Hisense will have an answer"...

So, hopefully this will get them to react faster, and if not, change some potential Hisense TV buyer's mind.

Sincerely,

TV-less, middleclass young person.
