Hisense After Sales Service
I submitted my repair request on 06/01/2026. ALL details requested were submitted - Including photos. It has now been 10 Days without ANY response from your company. In the interim, the problem is escalating and becoming worse. Please can someone now finalize or at least provide ANY further feedback regarding the repair? Ticket: *** ***

17 Jan 2026, 09:31On 16 January 2026 at 11:22 AM, I received confirmation from Hisense via email and message that my issue was receiving urgent attention.
I was issued repair reference number *** and explicitly advised that I would receive a call shortly to arrange a repair appointment (message timestamped 11:27 AM).
I was issued repair reference number *** and explicitly advised that I would receive a call shortly to arrange a repair appointment (message timestamped 11:27 AM).
I obviously was overjoyed by the prospect of hearing from them and finally resolving this matter.
As of today, 17 January 2026, I have received no further communication whatsoever — no call, no appointment, and no update.

This lack of follow-through is unacceptable, particularly after clear assurances were given.
Payment for products are received immediately by companies at the time of purchase, No waiting for their funds.
The same urgency is clearly not being app**** to after-sales service and warranty support

19 Jan 2026, 12:56Thank you for your reply.
However, please note that your standard turnaround time of 2 to 3 working days you mentioned, has NOT been met at all.
Keep in mind this was already reported on the 6th January 2026.
It is now the 19th January 2026.
Day 10 - To be exact. (Not counting weekends)
It has already taken 10 days instead of the 2 to 3 days as you mentioned.
I wonder how long it will still take to be finalised, and then, what time frame will we experience for the actual repair, and the return of the unit?
It is now clear that we need to get the ombudsman involved and all communication to date be forwarded to their offices.

21 Jan 2026, 16:05To whom it may concern,
Please note that on 21/01/2026 at 15:40, a certain "Goodman", ***), from Hisense visited us and checked the TV.
He checked the TV and took photos.
He mentioned that it is a common fault, and that Hisense will send out a technician to repair it at our residence.
I was asked to sign the service repair job card. (See attached)
Please can you now indicate the timeframe for the repair to be done as we have been trying to get this sorted as of 6/1/2026 already.
Regards,

Now, this message is AFTER I sent a mail yesterday, 22/01/2026, informing all that the technician visited my home, and they informed me that a technician will be sent from Hisense to do the repair at my residence as it is a common problem with Hisense TV's.

The fault is EXACTLY as it was, and may be becoming a little worse day by day.

I was told that if it was repairable at my premises, they would do so. If not, they would take the TV with them for repairs.

22 Jan 2026, 11:43Latest development.
Latest development to try and repair my Hisense TV since 06/01/2026.
Two technicians were at my residence on 21/01/2026, and looked at the TV, stating it is the board and a common problem with Hisense TV's, and that another technician will be around to check.
Then suddenly I received a text message stating that the repair was resolved.
I sent an email and followed up with a call.
I spoke to Thabang at the service centre and was told that he would investigate.
He came back and informed me that the message was wrong and apologised for it.
He said he would escalate the job.
Very friendly and helpful person.
I was then contacted by Khuselo from the escalation department, and he told me that normally if there is a fault with the board, they do not repair it, but instead issue a credit.
He stated that he would follow up with his superiors.
Again, a very friendly and helpful person.
Then I received a call back from him stating that his superiors said they should send out a senior technician to confirm the findings of the two technicians that already visited me on 21/01/2026. (Trust issues at Hisense??)
I was told that if it was repairable at my premises, they would do so. If not, they would take the TV with them for repairs.
I expressed my concerns of noticing other consumers stating they had to wait up to two months before their repair was finally done. He assured me that it would not happen.
A new job has been logged under reference number ***.
Seeing as how I have already waited since 06/01/2026 till today, 22/01/2026 to even get someone to come and check and resolve this matter, I wonder if I should trust his reply.
I now eagerly await a visit from the senior technician and will see how long it takes for the visit to my premises to actually take place.
This has been going on forever, and I don't trust Hisense at all at this stage!
Please resolve this asap.

28 Jan 2026, 19:23Ongoing Complaint since 06/01/2026
To whom it may concern,
Please, can you explain to me what is taking so long, or even why it is taking so long.
I reported the fault on 06/01/2026, and have since then only experienced problems with the after sales service at Hisense.
- One technician visited to check the TV and reported that it cannot be fixed and needs to be credited.
- You obviously did not trust the technician and decided to send another Senior technician according to you.
- When I questioned this, I was told that he was more qualified to do Fridges, etc.
- So WHY was he sent in the first place?
- This alleged senior technician came and told me exactly the same thing. It cannot be repaired and needs to be credited.
- Just to mention that this senior technician came from Durban and from a company called Rahul TV repairs.
- I also have video evidence of what was saint and what was done to the TV.
- I received an email from you stating that you " have followed up with the technician and will provide you with feedback as soon as we receive correspondence from them regarding your job"
- My logic tells me that if already followed up with the technician, then surely you already know what he reported to you.
Now, my logic also tells me that you would try and resolve problems promptly as promises within a few days.
Instead, you have delayed resolving this matter as long as possible by sending one technician after the other.
I have received a ROBOT call and message asking me to give feedback on my recent experience with Hisense.
Ridiculous!
The matter has not even been resolved!
Please can we now have this matter resolved as soon as possible.
Regards,
FJ Jansen van Vuuren.
