Expired gas stove sold on take alot

I bought a Hisense gas stove in August. The stove was delivered on the 27th of August. When I installed the gas stove at the house I build in the West coast to sell, when the specialized person who installed it checked it to get the COC, he told me that the gas stove expired and I won't be able to get the COC. So why does Take alot sell expired goods? Now I have to go and fetch the stove in the west coast and buy a new one. I have tried ever since to get assistance to get this problem solved and it has been dragging on. The house is ready to be sold. They are talking about a refund, but what about the collection of the stove????
