Dishwasher - Rust

We bought a Hisense Dishwasher about a year ago and it is completely rusted. We have contacted client service and sent emails and just get a response "We don't cover rust." We have tried to explain numerous times, we understand that if the machine rusts it's not covered, but this is the plastic coated racks (top and bottom) that is completely rusted! If it was coated properly it would not be rusting within the first year!

The "salt" light is also constantly on - regardless of salt be filled. We are convinced it's a manufacturing defect machine but no one seems to care. We have only ever bought Hisense appliances - from Microwaves to Fridges, so receiving this feedback as a loyal customer is absolutely shocking! Will definitely not be buying Hisense ever again
