Confused by functioning of the machine

I have a H15DSS model dishwasher for about two years now. At first it want draining water, I'd find a pool in there but an agent assisted me. I just have two concerns that I'm hoping someone would answer because Hisense never responded to my emails. Isn't the dishwasher supposed to self open the door to let steam out after washing? Aren't the dishes supposed to come out completely dry? What has shocked me today is, one plate came out completely dirty as if it wasn't even touched by water, it was exactly as I had put it in, why is that? Lastly I alway find the soap tabs still in the machine - not completely dissolved I use the Finish pods.
