Can't find remote, hisense unresponsive

We bought a hisense soundbar and the remote stopped working. Changed the batteries with different brands and still didn't work. We visited a couple of stores and no one stocks the remote alone. Makro called hisense rep for us whilst there and hisense told us digital experience stocks it, drove there and they said they have never stocked it. Connected hisense ourselves and they have never responded to us. So it doesn't matter that the soundbar is great quality if you don't have the remote to use it. We are so upset and disappointed and just want to buy a freaking remote to solve the problem. Why is this so hard?
