AVOID HISENSE!

Bought a Hisense dishwasher online from Makro in August 2022. Had a 2year guarantee. A few months later I noticed that the racks were rusting on top. When I pulled them out I noticed severe rust on the underside. The coating had clearly split at a much earlier date, exposing the metal. I contacted Makro and Hisense but was told that the racks were not covered. When I asked for a quotation on new racks the cost was nearly half the price of a new machine and the new racks would have no guarantee whatsoever. They described them as 'accessories'! A dishwasher cannot function without the racks as the spray arms ate an integral part of the racks. It is ridiculous and incorrect to describe them as 'accessories'! The machine is now useless. I had no choice but to purchase another dishwasher. This time I bought a Bosch. It comes with a 3 year guarantee including all racks etc. If I could give Hisense a minus 10 rating, I would. Stay away from Hisense products. Their attitude stinks!
