5 months old, broken screen, 2 no-shows — still waiting!
I purchased a Hisense 58A6N television in November 2025. Within months of purchase, the screen developed serious display distortion — visible artifacting and ripple/wave patterns across the panel during normal use. There is no physical damage on my end.
I have contacted Hisense 3 times via email and called twice. On both calls I was given confirmed dates for a technician visit — first last week, then today (7 April 2025). On both occasions, no one arrived and I received no communication explaining the no-show.
I have photographic and video evidence of the fault, all of which has been submitted to Hisense directly.
This is a warranty issue on a unit that is less than 6 months old. The repeated broken appointments with zero follow-up is unacceptable customer service. I am now formally requesting a technician visit with a confirmed date and time within 5 business days, failing which I will escalate to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud and pursue a full replacement or refund through the retailer under the Consumer Protection Act.
Hisense, please make this right.
I have photographic and video evidence taken BEFORE the technician's visit showing the distortion with zero cracks or physical damage. I also have images taken AFTER showing the ink bleed caused by his fingers on the screen. The metadata on all images is available for independent verification of the timeline.
This is a clear internal component failure on a unit less than 6 months old — not user damage. I am formally requesting a replacement or full refund under the Consumer Protection Act. If this is not resolved within 5 business days, I will escalate to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
Hisense, this is your opportunity to make it right publicly.
