Whirlpool InductionGlass Hob

My induction glass hob cracked all of the sudden after 2years of using the stove. The cracked spread to 5 different spots. I had an extended warranty purchased from Hirchs. I logged the issue and they sent out a whirlpool specialist to inspect. Upon inspection the specialist didn't see any negligence from my side and no fiscal damage to the glass besides that there were cracks. He sent the report in and mentioned a \possible overheating". Never the less"
