Unprofessional Customer Service and 'management'

Bought a washing machine from Hirsch 3 weeks ago, paid for this together with delivery and installation. Upon delivery the guys had reported that pipes were too short, the outlet pipe was not present but they could connect the inlet pipe.

Thereafter I ran the washing machine which led to a leak in my kitchen from the inlet pipe. Called the plumbers to fix this as it was a Sunday afternoon. They had reported that inlet pipe was not connect properly, added a piece for the outlet pipe and then reported that the pipes for the machine were infact correct and thereafter correctly installed the machine. This costed me a further R850.

I contacted the manager a few times however never got any call backs. I then contacted Magaret Hirsch herself, who initially appeared very helpful.

3 weeks later after alot of back and forth the manager Jerome has reported that there's nothing he can do to assist.

Such unprofessional and just sad management, if we can call it that.

I have supported this branch and the one in Durban on many occasions and have always recommended their services. Disappointing to think that its not consistent ...
