Stay away from Defy products and Hirsch's Milnerton

It has been almost a year since I bought a Defy deep freezer and fridge at the Milnerton branch of Hirch's. The deep freezer's motherboard broke after 3 months, it cannot be fixed, there are no parts to replace it with and Defy stopped the manufacture of this particular model. After a lot of time spent and promises being made Defy finally agreed to replace the units. This was about 6 weeks ago. Since then promises by Hirch's were not kept and for the past 10 days they have ignored my messages to sort this out.
