Price on box is not the price you pay at cashier!

I was very disappointed today with Hirch's Strubensvalley. I drove there especially do go and buy a Food processor. Makro is next door, but I've always preferred Hirch's because of their great service and product knowledge. However, we decided on a food processor and the price on the box was R3299.99. When we got to the till, the salesperson and cashier put through R3300. Now, hear me. It's not about the 1 Cents. I feel cheated because you've put through a different amount on my card than what the price on the shelf was, without checking with me! If it was R50 or 1cents, I would feel exactly the same. I was so excited about my product, but driving home I just feel cheated. Dishonest sales people ****s trust. Thank you to the manager who we phoned on our way home who offered us a discount on our next purchase, but when will that be? In 2 years? We don't buy appliances often! I really feel cheated and very unhappy. From now on I will only buy online from Yuppie chef or Takealot where you pay the price that is advertised!
