Outright Theft

I received a hirsch's product as a gift, (clearly theirs as it still had the original packaging sticker and nylon strap).

Upon visiting the store to exchange (not return) the product for something I actually could use they told me that they don't have an exchange policy, they have a buy back policy.

What this means is that they will buy the product back from you. However they buy it back from you at less than what they paid for it in the first place! (NOT LESS THAN WHAT YOU PAID FOR IT, LESS THAN WHAT THEY PAID FOR IT!) So they are willing to buy it back at cost, less VAT, less 10%!!!! So they make a 24% (plus the original markup) profit on the return of any goods!!! That is to say that they have ****** 24%+ from their customer!

Let me make this absolutely clear, Hircsh's commits the crime of THEFT every time they do an exchange of goods in their store! Fact! And they are basically proud of the fact!

I really believe the police should get involved here because these people are committing the crime of theft on a nationwide daily basis!

Not to mention that I am sure SARS might like to know that they are claiming the VAT back too, not sure if that is legal????
