Not happy with Product and After Sales Feedback

We bought Russel Hobbs Kettle in 2021 and never used as we had a much cheaper and very reliable kettle while we were renting. When we moved we took out the kettle +/- 1 year after buying this kettle. When we went to the business to return we were told about the 1 year warranty and 1 year that one must join on line. The product was leaking and not switching on, it is still brand and was never used. Product was taken in and never got any feedback from the Company. We are not happy as this was never explained when we bought this equipment.
