No accountability for defective product

Bought a very expensive pan in Jan 2019 with a 5 year warranty... After just 1 year the entire coating is coming loose. Took it back and after multiple follow ups, Hirsch told me that their supplier believes it is overheating, which is untrue, they can't proof and neither excluded in the warranty. Zero accountability from Hirsch, even when reporting to head office.

My conclusion, the warranty is a cheap sales trick with no backing. What you see is what you get, hence don't spend a rand on an expensive pan at a place that pretends to sell good quality products... It's just not true.
