Left stranded by Hirsch’s right before Christmas

Long story short, my fridge/freezer broke and my insurance company rejected my claim. Being desperate for a fridge/freezer I bought one from Hirsch’s through Avo by Nedbank. I mistakenly thought that big names like Nedbank and Hirsch’s could be trusted. Wow, was I wrong. I placed my order on the 12th of December and was informed that the appliance will arrive today on the 21st. Well, imagine my surprise when nothing was delivered to my house. I found Avo by Nedbank who send a request for information on the order. That happened at 15:00. By 19:00, Hirsch’s still hasn’t responded. I was infuriated when, upon my last follow-up call to Avo by Nedbank, I was informed that Hirsch’s has up to 48 hours to respond. Now I don’t even know if I will have a fridge/freezer in time for Christmas. If this is going to be the case. I will not be able to prepare food for Christmas. The management of Hirsch’s must please tell me how they sleep at night when they take people’s money and then left them stranded before Christmas
