incorrect information given

I have recently contacted the Hirsch's store in Umhlanga to query re an extended warranty on a TV we were considering purchasing, the consulted that I spoke to was made aware of where we will be purchasing the TV and understood that it will be directly from Samsung as he tried to convince me to purchase the TV from a hirsch's store as he advised that Hirsch's and Samsung are 1, I then informed him that this is a depreciation quote that Samsung had offered us due to the firstt TV we purchased from Game breaking, he advised that this will be 10% of the purchase price and once we have the unit I must contact them, we have since purchased the TV due to the extended warrranty being available for purchase and when I contacted the store I was informed that this is not possible because we did not purchase the TV from Hirsch's, this was incorrect information given to me and had I been given the correct information at the time of my call I would have never bought another Samsung product, I am now placed in a position of having a TV without an extended warranty as the TV cannot be returned
