I wish I could give them a lower rating !

Warning everyone that wants to buy anything from them trusting that they’re a big brand .

Bought a fridge from them a few days ago , it got delivered on Friday afternoon , my partner received , the delivery guys unpacked it with her and asked her to plug it in because they need to make sure it’s 100% working , I got home later and me and my partner didn’t like the size and decided we would just return the unit and get a bigger one .

It was late and I ended up contacting them the next day and then they started saying because it was plugged and they gonna charge me a 30% handling fee + R350 to pick up the unit and then they’ll let me know if they can help me ?? It’s not been 24 hrs , I haven’t used the unit , I don’t like it , it’s small and I wanted to upgrade it .

How is a fridge not even 24hrs old , and I provided them with photos of the fridge and I’ve got the packaging with me but they still want to me to pay a handling fee ? Their terms state any unit delivered neeeds to be checked and that it’s in working condition, now they want to charge me a Handling fee after we were told to plug and make sure it’s working ?

And for them to help me ? I must bring it to the nearest store or they can collect but I must pay and other 350 + handling fee which is 30% of the price and I can’t even get my money back because it’s the same process??

If you don’t want a headache ? Don’t buy from them , they’ve got terms that doesn’t help their customers but only protects them and you end up losing money . And they leave with everything.

My first experience and I will never ever shop with them ever again .
