Hirsch’s mediorce service
Let me set the record straight. This is not how I operate and how I initially chose to sort out this matter, however, Hirsch’s has forced my hand.
I bought a queen size bed from Hirsch’s on 26 April 2018 and suddenly on 19 October 2018, through no fault of my own, the base broke/ bent somehow.
I phoned Hirsch’s head office hotline on 22 October 2018 and they advised that Hirsch’s Centurion would get back to me. I was advised by the branch that they logged a call and would be contacted in 48 hours. The time came and went, not a word. I attempted to contact the branch to follow up with no luck, so I then decided to contact the salesperson who sold me the bed on her cellphone on 25 October 2018, she said she would assist. No luck. I tried my luck phoning another salesperson and he advised that he immediately logged a call with the bed company and I should hear from them in 48 hours. Still nothing.
So I then decided to buy a bed earlier this month from UFO and it was delivered and assembled timeously. I phoned Hirsch’s head office hotline to complain and report this issue a fourth time on 6 November 2018 and requested that they collect the broken base and reimburse me for it. I’m still stuck with the broken base mattress even today 28 November 2018.
The bed company conveniently came into contact with me right around the time that I requested a reimbur*****t. The bed company came to inspect the broken base on 19 November 2018 and I’ve spoken to various individuals from Hirsch’s and requested that they collect this broken base and still no result.
This week alone I was told that the base would be collected on Monday. Not a call, no collection, nothing.
The fact that no one calls or keeps me in the loop and my following up for way over a month proves that Hirsch’s does not care for their consumers and their client service is mediocre at best. I have lost my patience and want nothing to do with them!
