Hirsch's bad policy

Bought a phillps iron at Hirsch's Springfield August 2024 under 2 year guarantee, iron seems to be defective as keeps tripping the switches during use. I've taken the product in to said store only to be told by the store manager Sharon it needs to be booked in for repairs. I have explained if I bought at game or pick & pay I would have been credited emediately or been given a new product. I am now waiting to see if the process can be fast tracked as I'm left without an iron & VOW TO NEVER SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS EVER AGAIN.
