Hirsch’s

If I could give this place no star, I absolutely would. I would strongly recommend people to NOT buy any appliances from Hirsch’s at Gateway Centre in Centurion. The After-sales experience is an absolute nightmare and their management is beyond subpar. I had Mark, an incredibly *********** fella, argue with about my experience thus far with them.

They promise to call you back and never do, they are rude and insincere. Mark took a condescending attitude with me which didn’t work out in his favor.

The issue is that we South Africans are so accustomed to poor service that it just becomes the norm. This is not what people pay their money for and at some point we need to say enough is enough.

I made the mistake of purchasing a washing machine from them 8 days ago. The machine packed in a day later and the drum was not moving while it was “spinning”. I called in and after being given the run-around eventually spoke to the assistant store manager who agreed to send a replacement machine and take this one back.

The replacement machine worked for 3 washes and is now also broken. My wife called in yesterday and somebody promised to call her back with feedback - that was 12:00pm. Nobody called us back.

I called in this morning and had to deal with Mark who also promised to call back shortly. That was at 9am. It is now almost midday and no feedback. This guy is meant to call Bosch to find out when a technician can come out to check the machine and 2 and a half hours later he still hasn’t managed to do that. This is not a higher grade mathematical equation - it is a phone call and this can’t be done.

If you want to have poor service by all means go to Hirsch’s but I would suggest that you stay away
