Hirsch - Magimix

1. Purchased a Magimix food processor to the value of R7000 in December 2018, which came with a five year guarantee. 2. After working for three months it suddenly cut out while being used to grate butternut. 3. Two weeks after taking it in to after sales service we were told that it had an insect infestation in the motor, and that there was water in the motor. This would cost R3500 to repair, and would not be repaired under warranty. 4. This machine has never been immersed in water, and we don't have insects in our house. The motor was clearly not sealed properly and was contaminated in the factory or warehouse. 5. We are very dissatisfied customers and feel that we have been **********. Hirsch's after sales customer care is non existent!
