Hirch's - Poor Service
On 31 Aug 2017 my Kelvinator gas stove started to give trouble by tripping the electricity. I contacted Hirsch's as I had an extended warranty. On the 05 Aug I was told that they needed to order a part for my stove. During the 1st two weeks of Sep I was advised twice that they were in the process of ordering the part. My husband contacted them on the 17 September only to be told that they were having trouble obtaining the part. Eventually on Friday last week 29 Sept the technician came out with said part to repair the stove. The part that had now taken 4 weeks to receive, duly was the incorrect part. (not sure who ordered the part but I would assume that you check the part before you send it to the client. Now once again they have to order the part. We are now in week 5 and I guess it is now going to take another 4 weeks to obtain the correct part that should of been ordered in the first place. I don't understand why it takes so long for a part to arrive , I also don't understand why a customer is inconvenienced having to be without a stove for +5 weeks. My question is how long do I as a customer have to wait for a part 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 3 months before their so say extended warranty kicks in? In their extended warrantee it states that "In the event that an item, under Maintenance Contract cannot be repaired and has subsequently been discontinued, an upgrade or a replacement model available at the time will be offered at a few determined by the age of the appliance."
My patience is up and all Hirsch's do is say "We are sorry". Sorry is no longer good enough. Your customer service is really non existent.
