Given a kettle that’s not 100% working

Bought a kettle from Hirsch and it started leaking and I took it back to Hirsch and they sent it to SMEG and SMEG advised them to give me another kettle, the kettle I was given after a week started giving problems , it doesn’t boil water, it switches on and off and doesn’t even get to the boiling stage.
