False advertising
I was busy shopping around for a Chest freezer. Went online to compare prices. Makro had a KIC 543l for R6999 and Hirsch had a KIC 553l for R6299. To me Hirsch had a better offer, its higher and cheaper than Makro. Called Hirsch Springfield, spoke to a sales consultant, confirmed the freezer advertised, sent my husband the same day to pay for the freezer. The freezer arrived a day later that what was promised, on Saturday 11th and the Invoice states 543l. I called Hirsch and was told that the KIC biggest is a 543l. Then Hirsch has false advertising. If I had known, I would have gone to Makro instead and they would have matched the price. I message Margaret Hirsch and her response was " I have checked with our team and it is the net and gross capacity that is advertised. The gross capacity is the total volume of the freezer space. The net capacity is the total volume of the space available to store items" How can I be happy with the explanation? What I saw online compared to what was delivered to me is not accurate,
