Dont buy Aircons from Hirsch. Installation is sub standard

I purchased 2 Air conditioners 2 years ago. To maintain my warranty I was required to have the units serviced each year. After the first year I arranged for the servicing to be done. While doing the servicing the service person inquired why i had not taken the rust proofing option. I checked my invoice and confirmed i had in fact paid for rust proofing. The technician then change and said on relooking it had been rust proofed. He did however point out that1 of the units had not been installed correctly and indicated this on the report. My units are to have their second annual service this month however I called in another aircon company to look at two other units I needed looking at. While they were here I asked them to look at my Hirschs units and they confirmed that they did not believe the units had been rust proofed or if they had it was done poorly as some areas were already rusting. I went to Hirsch Umhlanga to see what could be done. The salesman I dealt with said after a year you could not establish if rust proofing was or was not done so I phoned the other company and put them on speaker phone and they again said in their opinion its not done or poorly done. The salesman became rather condescending and told me he would explain that it had been done. I now have a salesman who is telling me an aircon person with about 30 years experience does not know what he is talking about. I didnt want to listed to a whole load of bs so left. Well done Hirschs you have now lost a customer who has spent a considerable amount at you store over the years
