Dishonest warranties designed to mislead

Purchased a top end LG Microwave in September 2023 on the basis of the advertised 10-year warranty. 2 years and 7 months later it no onger works and I'm told by Hirsch's that the 10-year warranty only appies to certain components and I have to pay R750 to have it assessed and then still have to pay for labour if the part is covered. This is dishonest marketing and they don't stand by their misleading warranties. I will not shop at Hirsch's again and nor will I purchase LG. Complete lies!
