Bizarrely, poor service and lack of accountability

Extremely poor service from Cape Town Milnerton branch. Specifically sales assistants Jean Simpson, Jaimee Lee James and store manager.

I went into the store and selected appliances. I was passed to a different sales assistant and received an invoice. Made EFT payment on the same day including shipping charges. Did not receive any feedback on the day the delivery was meant to take place. Upon inquiry was told I needed to arrange logistics of delivery directly with the dispatch. Was then told that my order had not been processed, despite having received order confirmation from Hirschs. Further I was told that selected appliances were no longer available. Utterly baffling

The sales assistant refused to provide me with the national contact number and having called numerous times the store reception gave a number that did not work. I had to call a different store in Johannesburg to even get the number.

I strongly recommend against purchasing from Hirch's. Very poor customer service, lack of accountability and general sales ineptitude.

Stay away from the Milestone branch! Definitely go elsewhere if you are considering buying appliances in Cape Town!

Massively disappointed in a company that prides itself on service.
