Becoming gradually disappointed

I purchased an LG 423L Platinum Silver multi-door fridge for R29 999.99 on 30 July 2023 online from Hirsch's as a gift for my mother, which I requested to be delivered and paid R450.00 for delivery (order number ***) What was a good gesture seems to slowly turn out to be a nightmare. I received an email from Hirsch's stating that the purchase was successful and the fridge would be couriered in 5-7 working days. Those are the only two emails I received from Hirsch's. I did a follow-up with Hirsch's on 5 August and 8 August 2023 to find out the status of the delivery and the consultant who assisted me on the latter date assured me that she would call me back before the end of the day. I waited and I am still waiting for that call. I am not sure what is happening with the delivery. My mother is staying on the outskirts of Rustenburg, I think Hirsch's should clearly state on their website that they do not deliver to areas on the outskirts of towns. I could have purchased this expensive fridge somewhere else. I trusted Hirsch's and thought that they are a reputable store but it seems that I was wrong.
