Bad review Turned Good! I would recommend shopping at Hirsch's

I was initially disappointed with level of after-sales service after our very expensive Smeg fridge broke down. After several phone calls over the span of a week, I realised I wasn't getting anywhere, I decided to drive down to the Centurion branch personally and go and speak to the sales people there. That turned out to be the solution. I was given a substantial credit which allowed me to purchase a new unit of my choosing- I decided against replacing it with the same brand, went for a more affordable unit (half the price of the Smeg) and had credit to buy a new stove, which also broke down in the same week (out of warranty, very old). All my new appliances were delivered the next day and the sales lady was very helpful and even followed up with a courtesy call. I would definitely recommend buying from Hirsch's as they were helpful but don't try and do this over the phone, you have to physically go there to speak to them! Also, before buying any appliance, make sure you do your homework regarding the reputation of the brand- expensive does not always mean quality or reliability!
