Dangerous drivers

Saturday the morning of the 17th April 2021 about 07:50 on the Pretoria road travelling north, the following happened to me, HILTON LOGISTICS had one of their tanker trucks a double trailer on the road and just before the Pomona rd onramp, it nearly wrote me off, because the driver was on his cellphone, and he just kept coming into my lane, he nearly pushed me into the barrier, I hooted and hooted and because the onramp approached he realized he had to turn to stay on the highway. I was so angry when I saw him on his cellphone in such a big truck on a highway, that I followed him and pulled him off on the highway, I wanted to take his cellphone, as he is the type of driver causing innocent deaths on our roads. He would not get out and eventually maneuvered his truck and off he went. Back at home I phoned the company and asked to speak to the owner and the man who answered said the owner is not there, I then asked his name and number, and he said the manager is there and he will transfer me, I said no I do not wish to speak to him, he then proceeded to put me through, the person answered and said he is the owner, I said but I though the owner is not there and only a manager, he then said he is the owner and does not take calls. I gave him my name and asked him for his he answered Uvi, I then told him the whole story, he asked his guys who drove a truck then at that location, came back and said the driver's name is RICHARD. He then became less friendly and asked why I am complaining and what did he do wrong, I got a bit worked up, because the owner of a massive logistics company can't listen to someone complaining about such a serious matter, so I asked him if he has a problem hearing as I explained to him in depth and now he wants to know what his driver did wrong, well he started saying that I want his driver fired and he will first speak to his driver as there are always 2 sides to a story, I said to him I never mentioned anything about someone being fired or anything like that. He started lying about what I had said, he was clearly on his driver side and my take is he could not care less about innocent peoples lives. So when you see a truck marked HILTON LOGISTICS stay clear. I lost it with this pathetic human saying he is the owner. I told him I would come to his premises and F...k him up and he said I dare you to come. A simple call had to escalate into this, how pathetic. Be warned a lot of logistic companies have this attitude, I know because I worked for one, they never ever spoke to the drivers whom people complained about.
