FILTHY BATHROOM

I checked into the Hilton on the 24 September. The toilet was not flushing. The shower was filthy. The bathroom tiles seemed to have never been cleaned. Every surface in the bathroom was filthy, The bath tub had hair from a previous occupant. The cupboard door in the room was greasy. I informed the Front Desk Manager. She sent the Maintenance guy to fix the toilet. She wanted to move us to another room. I did not think that that would be a solution. The solution was to regularly clean the bathroom and room properly. When we left the room to have supper that night, I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned. Somebody scrubbed the grime off one section of grout. The rest of the bathroom was still filthy. The next morning, I called the cleaning supervisor and showed her the filth. I could not find alternative accommodation as it was the long weekend and all hotels and BnB's were full. The Hilton Hotel needs to have their star rating reduced to a 2 star!!!
