Recently tge Hilton Hotel offered internships. And my daughter was one selected to be part. With all the excitement as being a chef is her passion, she went for the interviews they called for. A date was set for them to come in and hand in they Sars tax numbers ,bank account numbers and contract signing. However she went and explained that she was in the process of finalising her documentation because she was a Zimbabwean citizen. She asked if she could use these documents for the internship. She was told it was fine. We went about finalising all documentation. Today 31st of October a day before they due to start the internship. She goes in to hand her documentation and is told that this programme is for SouthAfricans only.

This is so so wrong on all levels. What is BEEE about is it not to impower the black children regardless of where they originate from? Is it not to give black people a chance to do something? Correct me if am wrong here. Millions of teenagers commite suicide in this country because of trying and getting.rejected.

I am utterly disgusted about the response I got from the so called internship manager Vuyisiwe. You have no idea how you have broken my daughter's world. These are children who want.to make something of themselves but a shut.down because of where they come from , who they are.

And you say white people are ******. Yet the very same black people are the ones that are ****** .
